Subject: Girl Scout Communication

This email is for all currently- enrolled Girl Scout families.  I will also be sharing it with the families who are interested, so we may have new folks at our first adult meeting!

So, it looks like we will primarily use email to communicate as an adult group, and we can check in at our first adult meeting to see if Jaimie is able to receive texts for quick check-ins that may have to do with on-site coordination.

 

I have several different email accounts that I get on my phone, but I will try to send from this account so that you know it's Girl Scout related!

 

A few notes:

 

Sept 9:

Jill and Madison (Daisy) have volunteered to be at TBPS at 6p with a Girl Scout table for the Ice Cream social tomorrow night.  I believe Ricci and Carmen (Junior) will also be joining them…Thank you!  I am picking up outreach materials from Council today and will have them at my house for you, Jill.  (I'll text you more details)

 

Sept 16

Fall Product Sale starts (yikes!)  This is the fastest way for us to earn money for the troop, so please ask your girls to participate.  Information will be available at that time or you can wait until the meeting on the 25^th.  Ordering lasts until Oct. 21, unless we decide to do fall product booth sales.

 

Sunday, Sept. 25

This looks like our best date for our first troop meeting, so I will coordinate with TBPS to reserve the space from 4-6p.  Typically, we have an adult meeting during the week before at Cork…which has moved!  I haven't been in the new space yet, so let's plan to meet there at 6p on Thursday, Sept. 22.  We typically do official troop meetings once a month and then sprinkle in activities as we/the girls coordinate them.  I know Carmen and Rowan (Junior) have their heads together about making the first meeting a "bring a friend" theme…
