Meeting this Sunday will be at the Waterbury Ice Rink from 2:30-4p.
- Families will need to pay for admission ($5/adults, $3/kids) and rentals if you need them.
- We'll start off with the Promise and a part of the Law.
- Jill introducing the idea of the Senior Center Tea and helping the girls make decisions about planning the event.
- We'll congratulate them on their excellent cookie sale progress - they've already made the troop $396! (720 packages at .55/box)
- Jay Peak Water Park costs $29/girl (8 girls = $232) and $39/adult without a group discount. If they sell no more cookies, each adult would be responsible for $16. I think it's fair to say that the girls reached their goal!
- We only need to sell 368 more packages as a troop in order to earn the larger amount per box. If we do that, we'll make $707 as a troop! (1088 packages*.65/box)
Several people are looking into cookie booth opportunities where girls and adults would sell cookies on-site. Each organizer will get permission from the location, pick a date that they can commit to, and find another registered adult to partner with. We will then log it into the Council Cookie Finder to get permission, and the date will be posted on our Google calendar. Here's what we have so far:
